Testimonials

“Connecting with other caregivers in this course has been invaluable. Sharing our challenges and insights, alongside the support from Baha and Margaret, makes all the difference. Their genuine care and follow-up reflect their love and commitment. The course made me feel I am not alone in this caregiving journey. Most importantly, it reaffirms that God is always with us, never abandoning us. This group truly made an impact.”

Dora Young

“Coming into the Caregiver 101 sessions, I had no clear expectations. However, no matter what you anticipate, be prepared for God-given surprises. By the time we reached the halfway point, although my wife and I still find the challenges of our caregiving journey overwhelming, we now  feel  a renewed sense of hope and a deeper understanding, with a clearer perspective on the road ahead.”

Robert Gin

The content was clear, relatable, and essential, especially in highlighting caregiver well-being. The facilitators were kind, organized, and patient, creating an inclusive environment where everyone could be real. This course is a must for anyone in a caregiving role, especially from a Christian perspective.”

The facilitators offer spontaneous prayers, listen well, and provide valuable insights from their caregiving experiences. Their follow-up and topic-based questions deepen our understanding. Weekly emails remind us that we’re being prayed for, making this course a great support for those facing the challenges of caregiving.”

Caregiving 101 Facilitators

Through more than 50 years of married life, Baha and Margaret Habashy played leadership roles in 6 churches and 4 parachurch organizations. Through their Living Your Strengths Workshops they impacted the lives of leaders in organizations as large as Xerox and IBM or as small as mission and pastoral teams. Being part of a large multicultural family, they have experienced the challenge of caring for aging parents and the passing of loved ones.

In this course, they bring their engaging and facilitating experience and trust the Holy Spirit to use each participant’s experience to impact the lives of others.
